Snooker Live Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 19 May 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") explain the rules for using Snooker Live, Cue Club, FrameWatcher services, Snooker Live websites or web content, in-app community features, notifications, Live Activities, predictions, data features, and related services (together, the "Service"). They apply to your current and continued use of Snooker Live, including use of older app versions where those versions can still access the Service.

Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service. By downloading, accessing, subscribing to, or using Snooker Live, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

These Terms are intended to sit alongside Apple's App Store terms, Apple's standard or custom end user licence agreement for apps, and the Snooker Live Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict about App Store billing, subscriptions, cancellation, refunds, or Apple platform rules, Apple's applicable terms and processes will usually apply to those parts.

Who provides Snooker Live

Snooker Live is provided by Ricky Stone, a UK-based sole trader, trading as Snooker Live and FrameWatcher ("Snooker Live", "we", "us", or "our").

Contact email: stone.ricky@icloud.com

Service address: available on request where required.

ICO registration reference: ZC103724

Snooker Live is an independent snooker app. Unless expressly stated, Snooker Live is not endorsed by, affiliated with, sponsored by, or officially connected with any tour, governing body, broadcaster, venue, event organiser, player, ranking body, data source, Apple, or third-party news provider.

Your right to use the Service

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your own private, non-commercial use.

You must not:

  • copy, sell, rent, sublicense, distribute, or commercially exploit the Service or its data;
  • scrape, harvest, bulk download, mirror, cache, or repackage live scores, rankings, predictions, notifications, community content, or other app data;
  • use bots, scripts, automated systems, or abnormal request patterns to access the Service;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, tamper with, bypass, or interfere with the app, FrameWatcher, subscriptions, paywalls, notifications, Live Activities, security, or usage limits;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to servers, APIs, tokens, subscriptions, community moderation tools, or another user's data;
  • use the Service for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, harmful, misleading, or disruptive purposes;
  • use the Service in a way that could damage Snooker Live, Ricky Stone, FrameWatcher, Apple, third-party services, data providers, users, players, events, broadcasters, or the snooker community.

We may suspend, restrict, or revoke access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached, if the Service is being misused, if required by law or platform rules, or if needed to protect the Service, users, data providers, or third parties.

Age requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian to use the Service, enable notifications, use community features, or make purchases. A parent or guardian is responsible for your use of the Service.

The Service is not a betting, gambling, wagering, financial, or professional advice service. You must not use the Service to place bets, decide whether to gamble, or support gambling activity.

Cue Club subscriptions and paid access

Cue Club is the premium subscription for Snooker Live. It may unlock or support features such as Match Vision, live predictions, Snooker Live Ratings, route to match, frame scores, deeper match context, advanced notifications, Live Activities, and other premium features that may change over time.

Subscriptions, in-app purchases, billing, renewals, cancellations, trials, introductory offers, refunds, and payment disputes are handled by Apple through the App Store and your Apple ID. We do not control Apple's billing systems and cannot cancel your Apple subscription for you.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting the app, deleting app data, deleting FrameWatcher data, changing device settings, or deleting your installation ID does not cancel an App Store subscription.

Prices, subscription periods, availability, trials, offers, and included features may vary by country, time, App Store account, Apple rules, and app version. Apple may apply taxes or currency conversions.

If you have a statutory right to a refund, cancellation, or remedy under applicable consumer law, those rights are not affected by these Terms. Otherwise, App Store purchases and subscriptions are subject to Apple's refund and cancellation processes.

Original paid users

Some users bought Snooker Live before Cue Club existed. We currently provide those original paid users with premium access without requiring an active Cue Club subscription.

That access is a goodwill continuation of the previous paid app model. It does not create a promise that every current or future feature, service, data source, notification type, Live Activity, prediction, server-backed feature, or third-party integration will always remain available forever.

We may change, withdraw, limit, replace, or discontinue features or services for technical, legal, commercial, data-provider, App Store, security, operational, or sustainability reasons. We will try to act fairly, but we cannot guarantee permanent lifetime availability of any app feature or server-backed service.

Changes, suspension, withdrawal, and removal of the Service

The Service depends on software, servers, data sources, Apple systems, device capabilities, network access, third-party services, and ongoing maintenance. We may change the Service at any time.

We may, with or without notice:

  • update, redesign, rename, add, remove, replace, gate, or withdraw features;
  • change how data, predictions, notifications, rankings, ratings, or community features work;
  • suspend or restrict access to parts of the Service;
  • remove the app from sale or distribution;
  • stop operating FrameWatcher, APIs, notifications, Live Activities, community services, or other server-backed features;
  • revoke or limit access where there is misuse, suspected fraud, legal risk, security risk, non-payment, platform restriction, data-provider issue, or breach of these Terms.

Where practical, we may provide notice of material changes. However, we may act without notice where needed for security, legal compliance, platform compliance, data-provider issues, misuse, urgent technical work, or business continuity.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer rights.

Live scores, fixtures, rankings, ratings, and event data

The Service may show live scores, fixtures, sessions, dates, tables, rankings, player information, event information, broadcaster links, match status, frame scores, route to match, previous winners, event winners, predictions, and other snooker data.

Although we try to provide useful and timely information, sports data can be delayed, inaccurate, incomplete, duplicated, cancelled, corrected, missing, unavailable, or changed after publication. Matches may be rescheduled, withdrawn, held over, moved between sessions, changed by organisers, or reported differently by different sources.

We do not guarantee:

  • uninterrupted or real-time coverage;
  • accuracy of scores, frame scores, sessions, rankings, ratings, fixtures, event data, player details, watch links, or predictions;
  • that every match, event, player, ranking category, country flag, notification, Live Activity, or community item will be available;
  • that data will remain available historically;
  • that app content will match an official source at all times.

You should verify important information with official event, tour, venue, broadcaster, or organiser sources before relying on it.

Match Vision, predictions, AI summaries, and Snooker Live Ratings

Match Vision, original predictions, live predictions, score predictions, likely scorelines, Snooker Live Ratings, Vision Performance, AI-style summaries, player form, route analysis, and related insights are provided for entertainment and general information only.

They are not:

  • betting tips;
  • gambling advice;
  • financial advice;
  • professional advice;
  • guarantees of outcome;
  • official rankings, unless expressly labelled as an official ranking source;
  • a promise that any player, scoreline, frame score, event winner, or result will occur.

You must not use Match Vision, predictions, Snooker Live Ratings, AI summaries, or any other Service content for betting, gambling, wagering, financial decisions, or similar activity.

Predictions may be wrong. AI-generated or AI-assisted text may be incomplete, simplified, unclear, or inaccurate. Live predictions may change quickly or may not appear for every match. Where players are unknown, candidates are unresolved, or draw information is missing, predictive features may be unavailable or limited.

Snooker Live and Ricky Stone accept no responsibility for any betting, gambling, financial, sporting, commercial, or personal decisions made using Service content.

Notifications and Live Activities

The Service may allow you to choose match, score, player, event, news, and Live Activity options. These features are optional and may require device permissions, Apple services, network access, server availability, and supported iOS features.

Notifications and Live Activities are not guaranteed. They may be delayed, missed, duplicated, inaccurate, grouped, silenced, removed, stopped, or not shown because of:

  • Apple notification systems;
  • Focus modes, notification settings, permissions, or device settings;
  • network availability;
  • server issues;
  • data-source delays or corrections;
  • match scheduling changes;
  • device battery, operating system, or app state;
  • premium access status;
  • user settings or subscription settings.

Live Activities may be scheduled ahead of a match and may appear shortly before play starts or resumes, but this is not guaranteed. Notifications are provided for convenience only. You should not rely on them as your only source of match information.

SnookerHQ news and third-party content

Snooker Live may offer optional SnookerHQ news notifications or links to SnookerHQ articles. If you choose to enable news notifications, you may receive alerts about new SnookerHQ content.

SnookerHQ articles, websites, feeds, summaries, authorship, availability, and content are provided by SnookerHQ or third parties, not by Snooker Live. We are not responsible for third-party news content, external websites, errors, omissions, opinions, availability, tracking, cookies, privacy practices, terms, advertising, or changes.

External links may open outside the app or inside an in-app browser. You use third-party websites and services at your own risk and subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Watch links, broadcaster links, Apple Calendar, and third-party services

The Service may include watch links, broadcaster links, YouTube links, Huya links, event links, Apple Calendar sync, App Store links, Discord links, email links, and other third-party services.

We do not control third-party services and cannot guarantee that links will work, remain available, be free, be available in your region, or show the expected content.

Apple Calendar sync is provided for convenience. Snooker Live may add event information to your calendar if you grant permission. Removing events from Snooker Live, deleting app data, or deleting FrameWatcher data may not remove every Apple Calendar item in every circumstance, especially if calendar permissions are unavailable, the event was edited outside the app, or Apple/device behaviour changes.

You are responsible for checking your own calendar, device settings, permissions, and third-party services.

Community features, reports, and feature requests

The Service may include a public or semi-public community board where users can request features, report issues, vote, report content, delete their own posts where supported, and view status updates or notes from Ricky Stone.

Community features are intended to improve Snooker Live. They are not emergency support, legal notices, formal complaints handling, or guaranteed support channels.

By submitting community content, you confirm that:

  • you have the right to submit it;
  • it is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
  • it is not abusive, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, obscene, spam, misleading, unlawful, or off-topic;
  • it does not include personal data about another person without permission;
  • it does not include confidential information, payment information, passwords, tokens, private contact details, or sensitive information;
  • it does not infringe intellectual property rights.

You grant Snooker Live a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable licence to host, store, display, reproduce, edit, summarise, moderate, publish, remove, use, and create follow-up work from your submission for the purposes of operating, improving, supporting, promoting, and documenting the Service.

We may use automated review, client-side review, AI-assisted review, server-side checks, manual moderation, and user reports to help manage community content. These tools may make mistakes.

We may, without notice:

  • reject, hide, edit, merge, close, mark, delete, or remove any community item;
  • change status labels such as open, planned, fixed, closed, pending, or under review;
  • remove votes or reports;
  • restrict or block a device, installation ID, or user from community features;
  • report unlawful or harmful content where appropriate.

Publication of a feature request or issue report does not mean that we agree with it, endorse it, accept liability, or promise to implement it.

User conduct and misuse

You must use the Service respectfully and lawfully.

You must not use the Service to:

  • harass, abuse, threaten, impersonate, defame, or target any person;
  • post hate speech, discriminatory content, sexual content, violent content, or unlawful content;
  • submit spam, scams, malicious links, false reports, or repeated off-topic requests;
  • attempt to expose personal information about Ricky Stone, players, users, or any third party;
  • disrupt the Service, servers, APIs, app store systems, community moderation, notifications, or Live Activities;
  • bypass subscriptions, premium gates, rate limits, security controls, or privacy controls;
  • use Service content for betting, gambling, wagering, automated trading, commercial data products, or unauthorised redistribution.

We may restrict, suspend, or revoke access if we reasonably believe misuse has occurred.

Privacy and data

Your use of the Service is also governed by the Snooker Live Privacy Policy.

Snooker Live uses an anonymous installation ID rather than a general account system. This may be used to provide or manage features such as notification settings, Live Activity subscriptions, community posts, votes, reports, privacy controls, original-user metrics, and app support.

The app includes Privacy & Data controls that may allow you to view data linked to your current installation ID, export server-held data, and request deletion of FrameWatcher data tied to that installation ID.

Deleting FrameWatcher data:

  • does not cancel App Store subscriptions;
  • does not delete Apple purchase or subscription history;
  • does not change Apple notification permission records;
  • may not remove Apple Calendar events outside Snooker Live's control;
  • may reset your installation ID and local server-backed preferences;
  • may remove community ownership links or server-backed records tied to that installation ID.

If you delete the app, some on-device data may be removed by iOS. Some server data may remain until you use the in-app privacy controls or contact us, depending on the feature and applicable law.

For privacy questions, use the contact details in these Terms or the Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The Service, including app design, code, branding, text, layouts, icons, custom interfaces, compiled features, FrameWatcher services, Snooker Live Ratings, prediction presentation, and non-third-party content, belongs to Ricky Stone or is licensed for use.

You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, publish, frame, scrape, extract, or create competing products from the Service or its content except as permitted by law or these Terms.

Third-party names, logos, event names, player names, broadcaster names, news sources, platform names, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance in the Service does not imply endorsement unless expressly stated.

App stores, devices, and platform rules

Your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple's App Store terms, Apple Media Services terms, Apple platform rules, and the end user licence agreement that applies to the app.

Apple is not responsible for the Service, FrameWatcher, Match Vision, predictions, community features, notifications, Live Activities, support, or third-party content, except to the extent Apple provides App Store, payment, operating system, device, notification, or platform services under its own terms.

You are responsible for keeping your device, operating system, Apple ID, payment details, and app version up to date where needed.

Availability, support, and updates

We aim to make the Service useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, secure, compatible, or uninterrupted.

The Service may be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, server issues, network issues, data-provider issues, Apple platform issues, third-party changes, legal requirements, security incidents, or business reasons.

We may provide updates, fixes, redesigns, compatibility changes, or feature changes. Some features may require the latest app version, a supported iOS version, an active internet connection, device permissions, or Cue Club access.

We are not required to provide any particular update, feature, data source, compatibility support, or service level forever.

Support is provided on a reasonable best-efforts basis through the contact routes available in the app, such as email, Discord, community reports, or other published routes.

Warranties and disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we do not give any guarantee that:

  • the Service will meet your requirements;
  • data will be accurate, complete, current, or available;
  • predictions will be correct;
  • notifications or Live Activities will arrive;
  • community content will be accurate or available;
  • third-party links will work;
  • the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;
  • every feature will remain available.

Nothing in these Terms affects legal rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law;
  • your statutory consumer rights.

Subject to the above, and to the fullest extent allowed by law, Snooker Live and Ricky Stone are not liable for:

  • loss caused by inaccurate, delayed, unavailable, or incomplete sports data;
  • betting, gambling, wagering, financial, sporting, commercial, or personal decisions made using the Service;
  • missed, delayed, incorrect, duplicated, or unavailable notifications or Live Activities;
  • third-party websites, news, watch links, broadcasters, Apple services, data sources, or external content;
  • loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, opportunity, data, or anticipated savings;
  • indirect, special, incidental, punitive, or consequential loss;
  • device settings, permissions, Apple Calendar entries, Apple subscription records, or App Store account issues;
  • misuse of the Service, breach of these Terms, or unlawful activity by users.

If we are liable to you for something that can lawfully be limited, our total liability will be limited to the greater of:

  • the amount you paid directly for Cue Club or Snooker Live in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
  • GBP 50.

This limit does not apply where the law does not allow that liability to be limited.

Consumer rights

If you are a consumer, you have legal rights under consumer protection law. These Terms do not remove or reduce rights that cannot legally be removed or reduced.

Digital content and services may be subject to rights and remedies under applicable law if they are not provided with reasonable care and skill or do not meet legal requirements.

Where a purchase, renewal, cancellation, or refund is handled by Apple, you may need to use Apple's App Store processes.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You can delete the app from your device and manage subscriptions through your Apple ID.

We may terminate, suspend, restrict, revoke, or refuse access to all or part of the Service if:

  • you breach these Terms;
  • we suspect misuse, fraud, abuse, or security risk;
  • required by law, Apple, a court, regulator, data provider, or platform rule;
  • a service, data source, server, or third-party integration is withdrawn or becomes unavailable;
  • continuing the Service is no longer commercially, technically, legally, or operationally viable.

Termination or suspension does not automatically cancel App Store subscriptions. You remain responsible for managing subscriptions through Apple.

Sections intended to survive termination will continue, including intellectual property, community content licences, disclaimers, liability limits, privacy-related obligations, governing law, and any unpaid obligations.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If changes are material, we may provide notice in the app, on a website, through the App Store, by updating the document date, or by another reasonable method. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms apply means you accept the updated Terms.

If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and, where relevant, manage or cancel your subscription through Apple.

Complaints and contact

If you have a question, complaint, privacy request, subscription issue, or support request, contact us at:

stone.ricky@icloud.com

For App Store billing, cancellation, subscription, or refund issues, you may also need to contact Apple or use Apple's App Store support tools.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except that if you live in Scotland, Northern Ireland, or another country where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts or rely on local mandatory protections, those rights are not affected.

General legal terms

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply.

If we do not enforce a right immediately, that does not mean we waive it.

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written permission. We may transfer our rights or obligations where reasonably necessary, including to operate, restructure, sell, transfer, or maintain the Service, provided this does not unfairly reduce your legal rights.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, applicable Apple terms, and any applicable EULA, form the agreement between you and us for use of the Service.
